R4i Gold Plus users will get a kernel and firmware upgrade chance again. R4ids.com Team upgraded their kernel to V2.0 and firmware to V1.4.

R4i Gold Plus kernel V2.0 fixes games from 5906 to 5950 and supports slow-motion function and real-time-save and real-time-game-guide function. The increase in real-time feature requires firmware 1.4 or higher with use. New skin is added and cheat datebase is updated and expanded. Update of cheats is compatible with UTF8 format. Please name the UTF8 format cheat file "usrcheat.dat" and copy it to the cheats’ directory.

R4i Gold Plus firmware V1.4 supports slow-motion, Real-Time-Save and Real-Time-Game-Guide function.
